Hedychium Flaming Torch Light Shade we were able to make(syn: Hedychium coccineum var. aurantiacum PDN Form) We grew this for a long time as a selection of Hedychium coccineum, but now know it to be a hybrid with that species. Hedychium 'Flaming Torch' forms a huge mass of 6 7' tall stalks, each topped with a 1' long head of orange flowers in mid July (NC).
